At A Better Today, we started with a simple idea: to provide reliable and compassionate home health care services to those in need. Over the years, we have grown into a trusted provider of quality care, serving the needs of our clients with dedication and professionalism.
A Better Today has 7 facilities in Hazleton, LaPorte, Scranton, Stroudsburg, Towanda, Tunkhannock, and Wilkes-Barre Pennsylvania. A Better Today is an outpatient facility that has served the community for over 30 years with a high success rate. We offer comprehensive care to all clients and we accept most major insurances.
A Better Today is proud to welcome families as well. If you have a loved one that struggles with addiction, A Better Today provides support counseling.
A Better Today’s Screening and Assessment will help breakdown a client’s life, drug/alcohol history, and determine the level of care needed. This thorough session will help place a client into Outpatient (OP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), or Partial Hospitalization (PHP). Our goal is to tailor your treatment to your needs.
Addiction can affect multiple parts of a person's life such as relationships, money, self care and more. Our one on one sessions include working on addiction recovery, providing educational resources, building/maintaining healthy relationships, removing negative life aspects, and relapse prevention. Clients that are on Medical Assisted Tr
Addiction can affect multiple parts of a person's life such as relationships, money, self care and more. Our one on one sessions include working on addiction recovery, providing educational resources, building/maintaining healthy relationships, removing negative life aspects, and relapse prevention. Clients that are on Medical Assisted Treatment (Methadone, Suboxone/Subutex/Sublocade, Vivitrol, etc.) that are not receiving outpatient care by their provider/clinician can seek outpatient treatment services with A Better Today.
Group Counseling provides similar services as Individual Counseling. These sessions are held with other members in recovery in a safe, secure environment.
Family, friends, and supports are more than welcome at A Better Today. Family / Support Services involve a client and their supports attending Individual Counseling together. This helps provide a trusted, personal resource for the client on their road to recovery.
A Better Today is a proud partner with several other services so that our clients are given extensive care. We will set up referrals for several services such as food/clothing, transportation, housing, welfare support, support meetings, Alcoholics Anonymous, refuge support meetings, primary care, mental health, HIV/STD testing, MAT services and more!
Addiction and recovery come with real world problems. Sometimes you just don't have the money to pay for treatment. At A Better Today, you are our focus and we are willing to work out a budgeting plan. We will help work side by side with your doctors and attorneys to make sure you are on the best possible path to recovery. We accept most major insurances.
